BOARD MEMBERS

Jennifer Madsen

PRESIDENT

Jennifer Madsen

Jennifer’s racquet sport background is in recreational badminton, squash, and racquetball. Once discovering pickleball in 2017, it was a game changer for her. The challenge of the game and the drive to improve, combined with the camaraderie that is inherent with the sport, she’s hooked! Joining the board in 2020 has been very rewarding and challenging, given the growth of the sport in such a short time period. She says the friendships she’s made on the court are really what has made the most of her experience. Her life is now “Eat, Sleep, Play Pickleball, Repeat!

Shawn Hegan

VICE PRESIDENT

Shawn Hegan

As an avid tennis player, I’ve always enjoyed getting outside for a hit with friends and family since my early teen years. Moving to Prince George in 2015, I was grateful to be welcomed by the players and members at the Prince George Tennis and Pickleball Club and appreciate the friendships and relationships I’ve gained from my time at the Club. I am excited to be a part of this Club in a Board position, to help identify sustainable initiatives, and growth opportunities for the club and our members.
